A single-storey extension, whole ground floor renovation and garden landscaping in Christchurch.
BeforeAfter
The old conservatory and decking came out, and in went a light-filled, vaulted extension with rooflights and steel-look doors opening onto a new porcelain patio.
Inside, the back of the house was opened up on new steels to create one open kitchen, dining and living space, with a log burner, new cloakroom and engineered oak floors throughout.
The full job: demolition, footings, slab, blockwork and brickwork, structural steels, roof, drainage, carpentry, plastering, plumbing, electrics, kitchen, bathroom, patio, turf and pergola.

Two extensions and a new frontage
A two-storey side extension, single-storey rear extension and landscaping front and back in Salisbury.
BeforeAfter
The old flat-roofed side garage made way for a two-storey extension, matched in brick and tile to the original house. At the back, a single-storey extension with rooflights now opens off a much bigger kitchen.
To create that kitchen we opened up the existing back of the house on a series of new steels. Outside, we built rendered retaining walls to level the sloping garden, with porcelain steps, a porcelain patio and a new driveway and path at the front.
Our work: demolition, footings, brickwork and blockwork, structural steels and RSJs, roofs, drainage, rendered retaining walls, porcelain patio, steps and driveway.

New roof and loft conversion
A complete new slate roof, dormers and loft conversion on a character home in Ibsley, near Ringwood.
BeforeAfter
The whole roof was stripped under a temporary roof, then rebuilt with new slates throughout and timber-clad dormers at the front.
Inside the loft, we joined the front and back bedrooms into one suite, with a large dressing area and hallway, and built a new rear dormer to fit an en-suite. Oak porches went on the front and side, with new windows throughout.
Our work: strip-out, roof structure, dormers, insulation, slating, flat roof, cladding, oak porches and windows.

Smaller jobs, done just as well
Not every job is an extension. Oak porches, garden rooms, patios and steps get exactly the same care, from a slate-roofed porch with stepped lead flashing to a timber-clad garden room set on a natural stone patio with brick steps, a 9-inch garden wall taken down and rebuilt after a car crashed into it, or a new steel to open up the back of a bungalow for big bifold doors.
